Dexter cast come up with fantasy storylines

With Dexter returning to our screens, stars of the show are dreaming up their own storylines. Stars Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter talk about where they'd like to see their characters on Dexter going in the future. At the end of season two, we saw Miami Police forensics expert Dexter Morgan, played by Hall, getting away with the murder of his ex-lover, all-round nutter Lila Tournay (former Hustle star Jaime Murray). Now, as Angel Batista gets a promotion and Dexter's sister Deb - Hall's real-life partner Jennifer Carpenter - sports a new haircut, a drug dealer and murderer known as Freebo is next on Dexter's list. As he attempts to get rid of Freebo, he accidentally murders an innocent man, going against his 'kill only those that deserve it' mantra. Unfortunately for Dexter, the victim turns out to be the brother of Miami's top prosecutor Miguel Prado, played by new addition to the show, Jimmy Smits.
