DEFENCE: Funeral held for soldier of 2nd Battalion Royal Welsh regiment

Hundreds of mourners braved heavy rain in Hengoyd in South Wales to join the family of a soldier who died while exercising at his barracks. Private Gavin Williams, from the 2nd Battalion Royal Welsh regiment, collapsed during an incident at Lucknow Barracks in Wiltshire in July 2006. Five men from his regiment were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but have since been released on bail.
