Twenty-five years ago on 26 March 1982, the navy of Argentina set out on what appeared to be scheduled manoeuvres with its South American neighbour, Uruguay. In fact, it was the military's first step towards the invasion of the Falkland Islands and war with Britain. Twenty five years on, there are still over a thousand British servicemen based at one of the most remote posts in the world. They are at Mount Pleasant, protecting the Falkland Islands from attack - and their job is around the clock. They spend their days on exercise, practising for a conflict they hope they will never face. Second in a series of special reports to mark the anniversary.
