Debt-ridden Romania asks for bail-out - March 11 09

Romania has become the latest European country to ask the European Union and the International Monetary Fund to bail it out of financial mess. The move is a turnaround from only months ago when the Romanian economy was the fastest-growing in Eastern Europe. Now, with unprecedented levels of debt, it is set to ask for as much as $25bn. Alan Fisher reports from Bucharest, the capital.
