David Beckham has reaffirmed his commitment to the Los Angeles Galaxy after the team's successful playoff run. The midfielder has helped the Galaxy reached the MLS conference final against Houston Dynamo on Friday. England manager Fabio Capello had included Beckham in the 24-man squad for the friendly in Qatar with the condition that he would withdraw if Galaxy qualified for the final. Beckham has denied there is any conflict between his national and club duties. "The England management and everyone there knows we are in the playoffs," he explained. "It is the way it is and they expected that. It is not an issue and they sent their best wishes for the game." When questioned about his future with England, the midfielder said he still wants to be involved. "I will try and play as long as possible," Beckham said. "So, who knows. I am not thinking anything past this game on Friday. We will start worrying about other things after that." As far as the Galaxy, the team has played very well after getting off to a slow start, when Beckham and the team's other star player Landon Donovan openly feuded. Both players have recently had good things to say about each other and say their rift is over.
