I haven't put together any other KH2FM vids at the moment, so here's another game to give it a little change of pace. This is Dark Cloud, one of the earliest PS2 games. It's generally thought of as the Zelda of PS2, but that's not entirely true. While it does play a little like Zelda, it also has elements from other RPGs too. The game tends to get repetitive, since each Dungeon has approx. 15 levels, and all the levels look basically the same, but overall it's a fun game. Aside from the fighting, you get to rebuild towns, which is rather fun. You earn Atla that could be houses, people, objects in houses, trees, etc. And you place that on your current world map. Other than that though, the other unique element of the game is your weapons. Instead of your character leveling up, your weapons level up. Each time you kill something, the ABS bar fills. When it's full, you can upgrade it and embed items and such into it. The downside is your weapon has an HP bar too that you have to watch closely. If your weapon runs out of HP, it breaks and dissapears and all the hard work of raising it is gone. The beginning of the game is difficult because of the lack of items you need in the dungeons, but after you build your first shop, the game because much less frustrating. Anyway, this is the first boss fight. The only thing I tend to not like about boss fights in the game is usually they require you to switch between Allies a lot. And usually your allies are weaker than the main character in some way that makes you not want to use them. Either way, the first boss isn't hard if you know what you're doing. Whatever you do though, don't let him attack. You'll fall through the floor and lose about half HP. And I always attack him from the side so he doesn't kick me,. Great music though, which is what I like most about the bosses. Even the dungeons musics are catchy. Oh, and I messed up entering my name at the beginning of the game and made it "KEVIN" instead of "Kevin", so ignore that. I somehow didn't notice you can choose lower case.
