Dannii Minogue speaks out about Jedward + X Factor

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue believes Lucie Jones can make it in the music business, despite her controversial early exit from the competition. The Welsh teenager got the chop after ending up in the bottom two with twins John and Edward. She lost out to the boys, dubbed Jedward, after Simon Cowell went to deadlock. Speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards, Minogue, 38, said: "With the success that JLS have had I think there's more room this year for people who are not going to win to go on and do really good things and have a career in music." "That's what Lucie's always wanted and I think she'll get that," she added. Dannii has spoken to Simon and he stands by his decision to go back to the public vote, but she says "it wouldn't have been something I would have done."
