Sharon Osbourne has taken a swipe at fellow X Factor judge Dannii Minogue by saying she is only on the show because of her looks.Speaking to Graham Norton, Osbourne claimed the Aussie singer was not a judge on the ITV talent contest because of her contributions to the music business. She said: "She's younger, she's better looking, Simon wants her and he doesn't want me - thank God!"But Osbourne played down the comments during a press conference when asked about their rivalry, saying they were made for a comedy sketch. In response, Minogue said: "Unfortunately, you put women on a show together and people want to see a cat fight. I don't understand why it's like that, but it is."But she did dismiss Osbourne's claim that her music experience did not play a role, saying: "The ups and downs I've had in my career gave me the tools to do this job."Osbourne added on the rivalry: "It's an even playing field. Dannii speaks about me, I speak about her, yet we both respect each other."The exchange of words comes ahead of Saturday's final of the show, which sees Minogue's two acts - Leon Jackson, 19, and 24-year-old Rhydian Roberts - face off with brother and sister duo Same Difference, who are mentored by Cowell. The X Factor final is on Saturday at 7.30pm.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
