Laidback Luke has been expanding the parameters of House music by fusing Pop, Rock, Latin, R&B, Techno and Hip Hop. By doing this he has created his own unique sound: 'Live Re-Mixing'. Having wicked technical skills allows Luke to quickly and creatively mix tracks together in a non-stop barrage of new sounds, akin to the megamixtape phenomena. 'but all the elements of the music - the vocals, the loops, the instruments - are being mixed together on the spot, depending on the audience and vibe of the party'. He's also a succesful producer and remixer, recieving ever increasing praise since his first major remix of Green Velvet's "Stalker" in '96. Find out more about luke in our latest interview...
