CRIME: Rhys Jones murder: Funeral in Liverpool Cathedral

Thousands of people attended the funeral of 11-year-old Rhys Jones, who was shot dead two weeks ago by an unidentified gunman in Croxteth, Liverpool. Young mourners in football shirts and others in bright colours applauded as the coffin in the blue colours of Everton football club was carried from the cathedral. Candles were lit in remembrance, tearful tributes were made and poems were read as his family said their last goodbyes.
