CRIME: Barrister Bruce Hyman jailed for perverting the course of justice

Bruce Hyman, a former TV producer with many celebrity friends, is believed to be the first barrister in eight hundred years to be jailed for perverting the course of justice. He tried to frame a man who was fighting for custody of his daughter. Hyman went into an internet cafe in Tottenham Court Road, London, and emailed fake court documents to the father. When they were then produced in court, Hyman pounced on them, knowing they were not real because he had sent them. Hyman even suggested that the father may have been responsible for faking them. The Hampstead barrister was exposed by CCTV which showed him sending the email.
