Courtney's love for Givenchy

Courtney's love for Givenchy

After John Galliano brought out the bigs guns with his superstar supermodels for Dior, Givenchy has shown its wild side impressing celebs such as Courtney Love. The man behind the show was hotshot Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, who is following in the footsteps of Alexander McQueen and Julien McDonald who also worked for the fashion house.Tisci took the audience on a safari style journey with his creations of leopard print, fur, leather and feathers. And showing off his wild side obviously worked as the fashionistas gave the collection their seal of approval. No one was more impressed than the star who bagged a front row seat. Rock chic Love clearly has her own designs on Tisci's pieces and reckons he's done the impossible by coming up with something different. She said: "I asked him at breakfast where he wanted to take it and he said, 'In a schizophrenic sort of way', which we saw tonight. I thought the sequins were great because I'm over glitter right now. I think glitter covering everything is just kind of dead."© Independent Television News Limited 2007. All rights reserved.
