Glastonbury festival-goers are enjoying clear skies ahead of sets by Bruce Springstein and Michael Jackson's one-time tormentor, Jarvis Cocker. Performers, and the event's organisers, are said to be preparing their own small tributes to the King of Pop, who died on Thursday. Lily Allen wore a solitary white glove - a Jackson trademark - during her high-energy set on Friday evening, while the festival's founder, Michael Eavis, spoke of Jackson's musical legacy. "You realise what a fantastic legend we've lost, the like of which we can't really replace," he said. "As an exponent of song and dance, no-one came close." News of 50-year-old Jackson's death spreading around the festival's Somerset site was initially thought to be a malicious joke. However, thoughts are now turning to which acts will pay tribute to him, and how. There is speculation Cocker, who famously rushed the stage during a Jackson performance at the Brits, may mark the superstar's passing during his set today. Highlights for Friday night included performances by Lady Gaga, who wore a metallic halter top which blasted out jets of fire, and the "grunge" guitar set of veteran rocker Neil Young, who headlined the Pyramid stage. Friday's boggy conditions and heavy rain eventually gave way to glorious sunshine which is expected to continue into Sunday.
