In the movie, they use just one verse of the poem the song is based on. There isn't a version with the full poem on the market, so it's up to us fans to create one. As there is no "chorus", just verse after verse in (A,A,A,A) song form, I tried to arrange it so that the melody would not become monotonous ^w^;; I used my violin, my frame drum and some keyboard synth for the vibraphone and bass notes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ABOUT THE LYRICS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I did NOT write the extra verses! You can readily find the full version of this poem around the net. However it's a mystery to me who the original poet is. Some say it's by Edgar Allan Poe, but it isn't in any of his works, nor is it written in his style. Still I can't believe there would be a mystery this open ended surrounding a song in a Hollywood film. There are copyrights to be accounted for!
