Cole starts for Chelsea

Cole starts for Chelsea

Ashley Cole has been named in the Chelsea team for the Champions League final against Manchester United. The England international suffered an ankle injury in Chelsea's final training session before the game and needed treatment from the club's medical staff but they are convinced he is fit to play. There are no surprises in the Chelsea team, with Didier Drogba playing on his own in attack while Nicolas Anelka and Andrei Shevchenko are both among the substitutes.John Terry starts the match despite dislocating his left elbow less than two weeks ago.Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to start the match with three exciting players in attack.Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez are all named in the team and Ryan Giggs is left on the bench. If Giggs comes on, he will break the Manchester United appearance record he currently shares with Sir Bobby Charlton.
