Clean Monday flour fight!

Participants don plastic suits, goggles, and surgical masks, strapping cow bells to their waists to inform the village they are arriving at the town square at the quayside. Once there, rival gangs battle it out on the streets with more than 1500 kilograms of flour tinted with food colouring. Clouds of coloured flour fill the sky while viewers stand at a distance on the other side of the quay to watch the spectacle.
