Chinese food fans tune in to Huang

Ching he-Huang is the latest TV chef to join food luminairies Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver on our screens. Huang, a self-confessed 'foodie entrepreneur' was born in Taiwan to Chinese parents and moved to London when she was 11-years-old. She is now the star of a new six-part series on BBC2 called Chinese Food Made Easy where she will show 'wok-in-hand-cooking' in various locations. The idea behind the TV programme is to show how easy, delicious, healthy and tasty Chinese cooking can be. Huang is a self-taught cook and has launched products like Tzu - a healthy soft drink which is stocked in luxury outlets such as Harrods, Selfridges, Fresh and Wild. She has made appearances on Saturday Kitchen, Saturday Cook and Daily Cooks with TV chef Antony Worrall-Thompson. Huang has also written for several food magazines such as Olive, Delicious and Sainsbury magazine. In her TV programme she cooks with authentic Chinese ingredients like bamboo, mustard leaves, cucumber pickle, glutinous rice and noodles.
