Celebrities get slimed @ the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus was among the big winners at the annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Hollywood. The Hannah Montana star gave a tearful acceptance speech as she picked up the gong for Favourite Female Singer. She said: "I really thought I was going to lose. Unlike any other awards show, it's all because of you guys, so thank you guys so much." Other winners included High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, who was named Favourite Female Movie Star, and thanked her little sister Stella for "for asking all her friends at school to vote". High School Musical 3 also won the award for Favourite Movie, and the film's star Zac Efron paid tribute to their fans while accepting the award. Will Smith won the prize for Favourite Male Movie Star, and the Favourite Music Group award went to the Jonas Brothers, who performed their hit Burning Up at the ceremony. Meanwhile, Sandra Bullock and Hugh Jackman were the unfortunate stars to be drenched in green goo as they presented the award for Favourite Book, which went to the Twilight series. The soaking is an annual tradition on the show.
