(NECN: Washington) - Roland Burris says he anticipates soon being accepted to take Barack Obama's Senate seat. Senate Democratic leaders are changing course, saying they may be willing to seat Illinois Senate appointee Roland Burris after all. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid met with Burris on Capitol Hill this morning, and later said the Senate would wait for a court ruling on the matter. Burris was appointed by Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who prosecutors say attempted to sell the seat.
