Burley urges SPL to help clubs

Scotland manager George Burley believes the Scottish Premier League should change its policies as a result of the Rangers fixture pile-up.The club is facing eight games in 21 days as a result of reaching the Uefa Cup final and the Scottish Cup final.The congestion has affected Burley, who left four Rangers players out of his squad for the friendly against the Czech Republic on May 30.Burley said: "I think it's ridiculous at this stage of the season, when I'm naming the squad, that Rangers still have seven games to play."It's something that shouldn't be allowed to happen and it's something the SPL and everybody in Scottish football has to look at."It shouldn't happen to any club.
