Broadside: Poll shows Coakley, Brown ahead in Senate race

(NECN) - A new poll released by Suffolk University and WHDH shows most Massachusetts voters think Attorney General Martha Coakley will win the Democratic primary to succeed the late Senator Ted Kennedy. The poll released Thursday showed that 44 percent of people polled believe Coakley will win the Dec. 8 primary. Seventeen percent said they believe Boston Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca will win, 16 percent chose U.S. Rep. Michael Capuano and 3 percent went for City Year co-founder Alan Khazei.
