BREAKING NEWS: Gas Main Rupture In Hammond, Ind.

At about 3:15 Thursday afternoon a construction worker accidentally hit an 8-inch gas main, causing a plume of natural gas to shoot into the air. The leak is still active at 6 p.m. Homes in the area have been evacuated.
