BOWLS: Younger generation attracted to sport

A British-made film gets its worldwide premiere in the capital tonight. But there'll be no paparazzi crowding the stars, no glamorous pictures in the glossy celeb magazines - in fact, there's not even a red carpet - it's green. And it's not in the 'West End' either it's in Catford in South East London now, for the first showing of a film all about the increasingly 'hip' hobby of Lawn Bowling. We're not jesting - bowling is fast becoming the sport for a whole new generation of Londoners.
