Boogie nights for Dragonette

Brit-Canadian electro-popsters Dragonette decided not to take things too seriously when they were putting together the vid for their latest single ?Take It Like a Man'.The lyrics to the track throw up all sorts of saucy connotations, but the band dodged the obvious clichés and went for a sassy 1970s, Boogie Nights-inspired theme.Singer Martina said: "There were so many S&M style suggestions, we didn't like that at all."So we went for a funny switch around take on sex and also tried to bring the 70s into the year 2007."The video reflects the moody, laid-back vibe of the track which is certainly a grower.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
