Body of Michael Jackson released by LA Coroner

(NECN/ABC) - The body of Michael Jackson has been released by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. His body was returned to his family after midnight Friday night and brought to an undisclosed location. Jackson collapsed at his rented home in Los Angeles Thursday. He appears to have suffered a heart attack. A concert promoter says the late singer passed a physical exam back in February. A spokesman says an autopsy uncovered no signs of foul play. He also says Jackson was taking some prescription medications. read more
