Black Eyed Peas' manager charged over Perez Hilton "assault"
The Black Eyed Peas' tour manager has been charged with assault after claims he punched showbiz blogger Perez Hilton. The 31-year-old says he was attacked after a row in a club in Canada. It began at the weekend when Perez went clubbing after a music awards function in Toronto with his best showbiz mate Lady Gaga. The Black Eyed Peas and their entourage were also at the club and Perez says he got into a row with Will.I.Am and Fergie - who asked him to stop blogging about their group. Perez says he then called Will.I.Am an abusive name - which he says he now regrets - before leaving the club. Outside the club is when it is alleged he was punched by the tour manager, Polo Molina. Perez says he went back to his hotel, terrified, and called the police. He then started micro-blogging about it on Twitter. He has over one million followers on the social networking site - most of whom sent messages of support - but some agree with Will.I.Am's suggestion that he's looking for attention. The Black Eyed Peas' tour manager has now turned himself in to police, and been charged with assault.
