Binmen caught 'play fighting' on camera

A group of binmen have been filmed play-fighting and hitting a dead rat while on duty. The internet footage has been condemned as "unacceptable" by council bosses in Walsall, West Midlands, and has sparked an investigation. One video uploaded to YouTube shows two men in high-visibility jackets and boxing gloves taking part in a three-minute bout of sparring in front of a bin lorry. Another shows a man repeatedly hitting what appears to be a dead rat, which is attached to the bottom of a wheelie bin. Keith Stone from Walsall Council said the group were agency employees and are no longer working for the authority.
