Bill Stull, Tyrell Sutton and Curtis Painter College Football Injury Report with Dana Ward

Dana Ward from http://www.GamblersTelevision.com Hello College Football fans from our Rockstar studio this is Dana Ward here with our Week 10 College Football Injury Report for the sports betting public. Pittsburgh Panthers starting quarterback Bill Stull suffered a concussion and neck injury during the teams 54-34 loss to Rutgers last weekend. The junior QB was released from the hospital on Sunday and according to published reports will undergo tests and evaluations during the week for his injuries. His status is uncertain for the Panthers game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday. Stull started all 7 games for Pitt this season hitting on 60% of his passes. Stulls backup is sophomore Pat Bostick who saw action in 10 games in 2007 passing for only 8 Touchdowns with 13 interceptions. The Northwestern Wildcats suffered a big blow to their running game, as leading rusher Tyrell Sutton will undergo surgery this week for an injury to his wrist. Sutton had 776 yards and 6 TDs on the ground this season. The senior running back also was an asset in the passing game catching 30 passes for 276 yards and 2 TDs. The 6-2 Wildcats are at Minnesota next Saturday. Staying in the Big 10 Purdue Boilermakers 5th year senior quarterback Curtis Painter left Saturdays game with a shoulder injury and didnt return for the second half. Purdue head coach Joe Tiller told reporters that Painter has a slight to moderate shoulder separation and expects Painter to play on Saturday. If Painter cant answer the bell the Boilermakers will have to go with third string sophomore Justin Siller. Purdues second string QB Joey Elliot is out for the season. Purdue is at home to the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Kickoff is at 12PM Eastern on the Big 10 Network. That will do it for todays College Football injury report.
