Darrin's agency is unable to find the right model for the "Jewel of the East" campaign, and Darrin hopes they will soon, if only to bolster the confidence of Wally Ames, a young man substituting for the company's top photographer. Samantha decides to help and uses her witchcraft to transform a stray cat into a beautiful Asian siren named Ling Ling. When she strolls into the office, everyone flips over her, and the campaign is wrapped up. After the photo shoot, Darrin invites Larry and Louise Tate and Wally to a victory celebration at his home. Wally, enchanted by Ling Ling's feline grace, brings her along as his date. Samantha tries to get Ling Ling to give Wally up, but the cat-woman refuses. To avoid a catastrophe, Samantha is forced to tell Darrin of the girl's origins and asks him to talk to Wally, but Wally only becomes angry. With no options left, Samantha spikes Ling Ling's drink with catnip, and Wally bows out when Ling Ling displays her true nature. Later, Gladys Kravitz frantically calls her husband to the window when she sees Ling Ling, clad in a mink coat, lapping up milk from a saucer, but by the time Abner arrives, Samantha has returned Ling Ling to her original state, and Abner gives his wife a spoonful of her nerve medicine.
