David Beckham has topped a poll of Britain's most powerful men aged 40 or under.Shadow Chancellor George Osborne (4th) Prince Harry (5th), Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich (6th) and Bond star Daniel Craig (10th) are also on The Power List, compiled by Arena magzazine.Scottish tennis player Andy Murray is the youngest person on the list (39th), which features 40 of the most powerful men in the fields of journalism, music, politics and other areas.Beckham, who signed a £128 million five-year deal at LA Galaxy, said he was "honoured" to top the list.He said: "To get that title for just being a footballer is quite amazing."Arena editor Giles Hattersley said: "Beckham has topped this year's Arena Power List because he is arguably the most recognisable Brit on the planet.He added: "David is our biggest sporting export and has inspired boys of all ages to become passionate about football - and fashion."He boasts a formidable CV - on and off the pitch - and at 32, has already lived the lives of ten men."© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
