Barak Says Defense Establishment Is On Alert As Hizbullah Marks End Of 40 Day Mourning Period For Mughniyah

Visiting the Tarkumiyah goods crossing outside of Hebron on Monday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel is ready and prepared to deal with Hizbullah threats as the forty day mourning period for arch terrorist Imad Mugniyah comes to an end. At the Tarkumiya crossing Israel intends to construct a joint Palestinian Israeli industrial park in the future. Barak will also discuss the easing up of further restrictions for the Palestinians at a meeting he is scheduled to hold with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayad on Wednesday.03/24/08
