Hours before his meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayad, Defense Minister Ehud Barak gathered with former Israeli defense ministers and ministry director generals and presented US Senator Daniel Ken Inouye with a special friendship award for his fifty years of work and his devotion and support to the State of Israel. After the ceremony Barak discussed the issues he plans to raise in the meeting with Fayad.03/26/08
