Touring the Southern Command on Wedneday Defense Minister Ehud Barak told reporters that Israel is still a long way off from reaching an agreement with the Palestinians. Accompanied by Chief of General Staff Lt.Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, Barak said Israel is making supreme efforts to reach a deal, but if it doesn't it won't be because Israel was not willing but rather because the Palestinians are incapable.03/12/08
