Ahead of the adoption of the second strategic energy review, which will have the Southern Gas Corridor, including the Nabucco pipeline, as one of its main priorities, Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Energy, will make a trip along the countries of this key supply infrastructure visiting (Ankara) and (Baku) where he will meet the authorities of the countries involved. The Nabucco project is included in the EU Trans-European Energy Network programme, while the European Council of March 2007 identified as one of the priority projects that will benefit from a coordinator.
