AUSTRALIA: Painter who uses his penis as a brush tops the bill at the ever popular SEXPO Australia

It's that time of year again -- when Sydney goes sex-mad. The 10th annual Sexpo, which opened on Thursday (July 27), is more popular than ever, with organisers estimating they'll attract a record 55,000 visitors. The main attraction this year --- "Pricasso" --- a portrait painter who uses his penis as a brush. "Something you don't see every day," said Sexpo visitor Neil Charlton, in perhaps what was the understatement of the day ! Pricasso, whose real name is Tim Patch, claims to be the only artist he knows of who uses his manhood to paint. It may sound silly, but Patch says there are a lot of extra things he has to consider compared to other artists. For a start, he has to be careful to use only water-soluble acrylic paint and, according to him, positioning is everything. "When you're doing a penis painting you've got a distorted view of a painting so you always have to compensate for the length and width", said Patch, describing his unique lower positioning of the canvas with his tool. While it may cause onlookers to giggle, Patch does have to be careful who the subjects of his paintings are. While celebrities may get upset and beefy rugby players may turn dangerous at the idea of their images being painted with a penis , he says, politicians are fair game. "It's a sort of controversial thing to do, isn't it, really you know. It's better than painting portraits of sort of film stars and things like that because thy might get upset, rugby players might come and beat me up. Politicians, they expect it anyway, don't they", said Patch. Sexpo visitors not only get to see the great Pricasso at work, they'll also get a knock-down price on the canvases. For the next few days Pricasso's normally priced 275 Australian dollars (209 U.S. dollars) will go for 75 (AUSD) (57 USD). Sexpo, which runs until July 30, will showcase many other sex entertainers and sell all sorts of unusual sex products.
