A mother whale and her albino calf have been sighted on Sunday (August 06) in Strickland Bay near Rottnest Island, off the coast of Perth in western Australia. Australia's Nine Network reported that the whales are believed to be taking shelter in the bay as the albino calf is not more than two months old. The placid pair of whales playfully swam in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. There are not more than ten albino calf whales swimming in world oceans at any one time. Humpback whales often use Australian shores as immigration paths through the oceans.
