ARTS: Music: Alvin Curran leads musicians in UK premiere of Maritime Rites

Members of the London Symphony Orchestra and other musicians will play on a barge in the middle of the river Thames, accompanied by the bells of St Paul's Cathedral. American composer Alvin Curran will lead the musicians in the UK premiere of 'Maritime Rites'. The performance is taking place outside Tate Modern and on the Millennium Bridge.
