ARTS: Literature: Writer Anthony Powell dies

It has been announced that the novelist Anthony Powell has died at the age of 94. In outliving his contemporaries, Powell's literary star fell, but his friend and fellow writer Sir Vidia Naipaul paid tribute to him, saying he believes it will undoubtedly shine again.
