Until now, so far as we knew, only Russians had been contaminated in the Alexander Litvinenko poison plot. But now seven ordinary people - nothing to do with a possible Russian feud - have tested positive for polonium two-ten radiation. They all work in the bar of the Millennium Hotel in London where Mr Litvinenko had a meeting before becoming ill. They have been told they have a small increased risk of cancer, later in life. Furthermore, Dmitry Kovtun, a former KGB agent who met Alexander Litvinenko at a London hotel on the day he was poisoned, is said to be in hospital with suspected radiation poisoning.
