'Africa Mercy' hospital ship in Blyth harbour

The 'Africa Mercy', the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship departing for Liberia from Blyth Harbour on the Northumberland coast. The vessel was refitted from being a Danish rail ferry for the international charity Mercy Ships, which provides essential services for some of the world's poorest countries via its ships and volunteers.
