AFRICA: MALI - 2008

The European Commission is producing a series of video stockshots on Africa which will include general shots and illustrations of EU projects currently being undertaken in different African countries. Mali - 2008 is part of the first series and is released to coincide with Africa Day which takes place on 25/05/2008 and covers: - general views of Bamako, capital of Mali, - a food security project aimed at providing clean drinking water to villages through the country, - culture - EC funding used to improve the National Museum of Mali, - health - ARCAD/SIDA centre in Bamako.
