AFGHANISTAN: Exclusive amateur video footage of British military operations filmed by British soldier

Amateur film footage shot by a British soldier serving in Afghanistan of a whole range of operations associated with Operation Herrick. Most of it is shot in Sangin, some is shot in Musa Qala. Amongst other things there is an A10 attack on Taliban positions, various JDAM (large bombs, most dropped by Harriers) attacks, soldiers firing 50 calibre machine guns, Javelin shoulder-launched anti-tank weapons and various other weapons. The footage also shows Chinook and Apache helicopters at work and an attack by men of 3 Para (3rd battalion Parachute Regiment) on Taliban positions.
