
Eight more British soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan as the major assault against the Taliban takes its bloody toll.The deaths mark a grim milestone - with the total number of troops killed now exceeding those in the Iraq conflict - at a 184.Prime Minister Gordon Brown signalled that more deaths were likely as he warned that British forces are facing a "very hard summer".There has been renewed criticism though that the troops are dangerously under equipped.Caroline Wyatt reports.
