Aero the Acro-Bat (get it? As in Acrobatic Bat) was created by Sunsoft during the mascot craze of the 16-bit era, a period were mascots were being more and more associated with their respective company, such as Mario from Nintendo and Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega. Sunsoft never did so well outside Japan after the 16-bit era, but Aero being from that period in video gaming, did enjoy some success, they even made a sequel. In this video, the Sega Genesis/Megadrive version is shown, but the game was also released on the SNES and much later on the GBA with a save feature, not present in prior versions such as this one. Enjoy this video of the first act and the wackiness of the soundtrack.
