Acts prepare for Britain's Got Talent final

A ten-year-old singer dubbed "the bravest girl in the world" has won a place in the final of Britain's Got Talent. In the fifth and last semi-final of the ITV1 talent show, judges allowed Hollie Steel to perform again after she burst into tears during her first attempt at Edelweiss. After a hug from her mother and a desperate plea for another chance, the singer, from Accrington, Lancashire, took to the stage for a second time later in the show. Next time around, a tearful Hollie said she had enjoyed herself and her performance received resounding applause and a standing ovation from the judges, who praised her bravery. Simon Cowell told Hollie: "You are officially now the bravest girl in the world", while Piers Morgan said: "That was one of the gutsiest things I've ever seen in my life. I couldn't have done that and I think you should be very proud of yourself." Fellow child star - self-taught street dancer Aidan Davis, 11, from Birmingham - secured the most votes from the public in the last semi-final of the ITV1 show to complete the line-up. Over 15 million viewers are due to tune in for the biggest Britain's Got Talent final ever on Saturday night. The contestants will battle it out for a £100,000 prize and a place on the Royal Variety Performance stage. Scottish singer Susan Boyle is still the favourite, but she faces stiff competition from 12-year-old Shaheen Jaragholi, father-and-son dance act Stavros Flatley, Diversity, Flawless, Shaun Smith, saxophonist Julian Smith and 2 Grand.
