For the Atlantic Sun Conference Champion 15th seeded Belmont Bruins, about the only thing they'll have in common with their 2nd seeded first round opponent in San Diego is their mascot. Making their first trip to the NCAA tournament, Belmont will be playing UCLA, a program with as rich a history in the tournament as any other.UCLA is making its 40th appearance on the heels of winning their first Pac-10 Title since 1997. This will be the first time these bruins have met on the court, but UCLA will look to their sophomore backcourt of Jordan Farmar and Aaron Afflalo to lead them through the Oakland bracket and toward another Final Four appearance. The high scoring Belmont Bruins, who averaged 81.8 points per game, will be looking to Atlantic Sun Tournament MVP Justin Hare to help continue their Cinderella story.
