Sir Richard Branson Repels 407 Feet Off The Palms Casino Resort And Attends Star-Studded Red Carpet and A Celebrity Charity Poker Match Sir Richard Branson repelled 407 feet off the Palms Casino Resort's Fantasy Tower to celebrate inaugural Virgin America flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Later, the star-studded red carpet event at The Wynn for a celebrity charity poker match included: Lauren Conrad & Audrina Patridge (The Hills) as well as World Poker Tour Champ Jamie Gold and SNL vet Norm MacDonald as well as the cast of Showtime's Vegas-set "Dexter". Earlier Virgin America celebrated with an entertainment-studded inaugural flight send-off and ribbon cutting at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). A water cannon salute, showgirls and dancers from La Reve welcomed Virgin America and VIP guests, including Carmen Electra, Virgin America CEO Fred Reid and a lucky couple married on the flight by Virgin Group Founder and Chairman Sir Richard Branson himself!
