Gladiators returns to our TV screens

Gladiators is returning for a second series and the popular TV show is on the look out for some new contenders. Scottish referee John Anderson will still be calling the shots, but there will be new Gladiators, new presenters and new challenges. When asked to re-join the show, Anderson said it was like being asked if he wanted another piece of cake: Anderson said: "It's a bit like having Christmas every other day." "I'm the envy of every red-blooded male in the world. It's absolutely incredible." TV presenter Kirsty Gallagher has left but a familiar face will be returning to join the Gladiator line-up - Wolf. Wolf has been a stalwart in Gladiators since the first series, he has acquired a bit of a 'celebrity status' after appearing in other TV shows such as London's Burning, The Weakest Link and Sky One's Toughman.
