Another Day (season 2, episode 22)

Joey Heric is accused of murdering another lover. Lindsay pursues another case targeting the tobacco industry and her former professor. The purse-snatcher case goes to trial. Joey Heric (see episode 0W02) phones the firm with an emergency. Bobby, Ellenor and Eugene race to his apartment where they find his gay lover, Marty, dead on the kitchen floor, a knife in his chest. Heric freely admits Marty was stabbed during an argument. The attorneys agree to represent him... and worry they might win an acquittal. The case takes another turn when Gamble, who is no longer dating Bobby, joins the prosecution team, assisting A.D.A. Ward.
