Largest Fruit Mosaic

The largest fruit mosaic, unveiled on 29 September 2001 at Kivik, Österleden, Sweden, consisted of 25,000 apples, measured 104 m² (1,119 ft²), and was designed by Emma Karp Laggar and Jan Laggar (both Sweden). Entitled Applecheek, each apple was nailed to a board by a team of eight people to form an abstract image of planet Earth.
